I didn't think I'd see this depicted, one of Sauron's contemptible deeds after he had discarded the pretense for courtesy & gentility. As in most cases of such atrocities, the sight of the mutilated corpse might eencourage the Dark Lords force, but inspire puty and outrage in Elves and Dunedain.
